Data Deletion Instructions

You do not need a Norqia account or Facebook sign-in to make a request. This process concerns information Norqia holds; it does not delete your Facebook account or automatically remove copies controlled by other services.

On this page

1. Send a request to the editor

Email contact@norqiadigest.com with the subject Norqia Digest data deletion request. Include only what is needed to find the relevant records.

  • The email address you used to contact Norqia, preferably by writing from that address.
  • The approximate date and subject of your message, or the relevant article, Page-post URL, or request ID.
  • What you would like removed: for example, your message and contact details, permission for future follow-up, or personal information in a published contribution.

For a Facebook-related request, a profile or post URL may help locate the interaction. Do not send your password, access token, government ID, or medical records. Additional verification should be limited to what is necessary for the request.

2. The editor locates and reviews the records

The editor reviews the request and may ask for clarification or proportionate identity verification before disclosing or deleting information. If you are acting for another person, explain your authority without including unnecessary sensitive documents.

Relevant records may include website messages, contact details, permissions, editorial notes, email notifications or correspondence, and information associated with the Page publishing connection. A request to stop follow-up can be made without asking to remove everything.

3. Receive an explanation of the outcome

The editor will explain what was deleted, what was not found, and any information that must be retained with the reason. Requests are handled manually; there is no instant self-service deletion or automated confirmation-code system on this website.

We will respond without undue delay and within any applicable legal deadline. We do not promise a fixed completion time before the scope of the request and any necessary verification are known. You may use the same email thread to ask about progress.

What deletion can and cannot remove

Norqia-controlled records. Requests can cover private submissions and personal information retained in the editor’s systems. Email notifications, exported files, and backups need to be considered separately from the active website database; removal is not automatically simultaneous. Any retained backup or other copy should be identified in the response where relevant, rather than described as already erased.

Published material. Include the exact article or post URL when asking to remove personal information from published content. The editor can review content under Norqia’s control. Removing a private submission does not automatically withdraw every article that discusses the same scientific topic, and Norqia cannot erase independent research publications, screenshots, search-engine caches, or reshares controlled by others.

Facebook and other services. To remove information from your own Facebook account, use Meta’s account controls. Norqia can address its own retained information and content it controls, but cannot delete your Facebook account or guarantee removal from Meta’s systems.

For someone who authorized the Facebook connection

If you authorized the Norqia Digest app to manage a Page, you can use Meta’s app or business-integration settings to remove that authorization. The exact controls depend on how the connection was granted. You may also email the editor to request removal of the corresponding credentials and retained personal information from Norqia’s systems.

Revoking access prevents future authorized access through that connection; it is not a substitute for requesting deletion of information already retained. Norqia’s ordinary readers do not need to authorize this Page-management app.

For more detail about the information involved, read the Privacy Policy.
